Month 4 - Checkpoint

Welcome back everyone to another episode of 2012 by 2012! Today I will be discussing a little about if I'm currently on the right track/path to completing this goal. I will also talk about my future plans and what I'm currently working on, so on that note lets get this fun filled blog on the way!

I have been working on this goal for some time, and I feel it's time to check to see where I'm at in my goal. Back in the first month of this self challenge I determine that I would need at least 85 trophies a month, so lets take a look at how far I am along this challenge. Keep in mind I started at 1000 trophies and my goal is to get to 2012 by then end of this year! That's 1012 trophies! That's not the whole challenge, but I was also looking at getting 15 platinum trophies as well this year. I started at 17, and I am now at 21! Which is an average of 1 per month, but I also got a head start for this month and will most likely get 2 more platinum trophies this month (Mass Effect 2 and Killzone 3, but more on that later). Okay so lets determine how well I'm doing trophy wise, so starting this goal at 1000 trophies I am now at 1326. That means I have scored 326 trophies in 4 months, but is that on par with my goal. If needing 85 trophies a month and it's been 4 months we should be at 340 trophies, so it looks like I'm slightly behind but not to far behind. My goal still seems very attainable, especially since I have been missing a lot of gaming on my days off. I know comfortable that I can keep at this rate, so I wont find to far behind, but I will need to pick it up a little in the future.

What are my plans for the future. Well here's what my look at the future in a past post.

Dead Space (Must beat on impossible)
Dead Nation (Only beat first 2 levels)
Shank (Must beat hardest difficulty)
Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World (Only beat first level)

From this backlog I have made a few changes. Dragon Age is off the list, great game, but the platinum is just to time consuming. Most likely FF13 will be off the list as well. Dead Space has been beaten. Most of my Platinum trophies have come from games that came out this year.

Platinum trophies that came out this year:
Dead Space 2
Dead Space: Extraction (For PS3)
Marvel Vs. Capcom 3

ME2, KZ3, Socom 4, and Bulletstorm will be on that list soon enough, but Infamous 2 is the only one from now until fall, and that leaves me my main chunk of time to backlog. This goes a little more into my future of my goals. I plan on working on KZ3 Platinum with the ME2 Platinum, and this is because ME2 platinum will take a lot of stress to beat (ME2 Insanity difficulty is not nice), and KZ3 is going to be my stress release, and an easy platinum. Bulletstorm and Socom 4 will be worked on together after that as well, and again this is due to Bulletstorm taking more time and being a bigger stress than Socom 4. After the completion of these 4 games I am guessing will be around the time Infamous 2 comes out, which will be then be worked on around that time. After that (and before that if time permitted) will be worked on my backlog, as well as the Sly Cooper collection, which if anything like God Of War collection should be able to complete the 3 games all in 1 month.

I promised you guys more videos as well, and I am currently recording my process through ME2 Insanity, and I am dying a lot, which will help you guys in the long run by allowing me to show you the best way about going through the mission. Also remember that I'm not fully playing through the game, that would be crazy insane to do. I am going through the bare minimum, and that is because it's faster and easier. If you want to feel free, but I'm only showing video of what the bare minimum that is needed. Anyways back to what I was saying... Hopefully I will have a few videos of this by next Sunday ready to post.
